well-kept and perfect for leisurely walks.
Our lounge features an authentic 1930s
red-leather-and-glass bar that owner Stan
Rosen inherited from his grandfather and had
shipped up to Georgia in 2002. The bar,
which still smells of scotch and cigars,
features two pictures of Stan's grandfather,
one taken in the 1920s at Cornell, and one
taken many years later. This historic bar is
just one of many reminders that, rather then
being stuffed into a small hotel room in a
hotel packed with patrons, you are in a much
more genuine sense our personal guest.
As a bed and breakfast, we strive to
maintain the warmth of a private home for
your retreat, while still providing you with
privacy and seclusion. Each room is a
getaway in itself, complete with private
bath and fireplace, and many of our rooms
have a Jacuzzi or claw-foot tub.
The Hampton Terrace Bed and Breakfast
uniquely captures the ambience and charm of
Lenox, Massachusetts and the Berkshires.
There are several mid-week specials for
stays that fall between Sunday and Thursday,
as well as romantic weekend packages
year-round. While Lenox is perhaps best
known for summer activities, it is every bit
as beautiful--and considerably less
crowded--during the off-season months.
