Every morning, we serve a full breakfast by candlelight, a perfect start to a gastronomical day that might include one of dozens of restaurants within walking distance, or one of hundreds throughout the Berkshires. All of our guests receive a dining list from us with their confirmation, which ranks the best 25 restaurants in the area and provides full descriptions and telephone numbers, so our guests can plan their evenings before they come. We have had tens of thousands of "guest nights" over the years where what our guests ate the prior night is the main topic of conversation. In addition, we eat out almost every night. Fine dining is an important part of the Berkshire experience, so we do our best to pre-orient our guests to this element of their stay with us.
