We all need the opportunity to escape from the stressful routines of our daily lives. A great vacation takes us out of our everyday grind, even if just for a weekend, and allows us to rejuvenate by enjoying something different in a beautiful environment. Hampton Terrace Bed and Breakfast is a fabulous New England getaway, transporting you to the Gilded Age for a much-needed respite.

When you visit, you can sit at the same 1929 "L" Steinway Grand piano enjoyed by Robert Merrill, Roberta Peters, Jerome Hines, and Emanuel Ax. Relax in a living room that features a 1940s carousel horse and victrola. The three-story suspended staircase will take you to a more elegant time and place. It is beautifully constructed with curved balustrades and arches. When you reach the second floor landing, you can enjoy our family doll collection, which is housed in a hand-painted china cabinet.

Our estate is comprised of the Main House and Carriage House, both with cozy and private guest rooms. Each room is decorated with antiques and equipped with a TV/VCR and private bath. Many of our rooms offer fireplaces, and either a Jacuzzi or a claw-foot tub. But for the ultimate in luxury, we have introduced our new King Suites. These sumptuous accommodations feature private entrances, two-person Jacuzzi tubs, sitting porches, living rooms with fold-our couches, four-poster king beds, wet bars, and much more. We also have a new heated grotto-style pool for a day of swimming or an evening dip after an exciting day of exploring.

We offer several weekend packages, as well as midweek getaways.
