"…We think the best part of the holiday was spent at the Hampton Terrace Inn in Lenox. This was a small inn (12 double bedrooms) which was an old clapboard house, full of character, and lovingly restored and furnished by the owner and his wife. Our bedroom was very spacious and comfortable and everything about the house was friendly, with welcoming lounges to relax in, and the family dog wagging his tail and coming up to us every time we walked across the lawn to the main house. We enjoyed talking to the owner, and to other guests over home cooked breakfasts, and for dinner, a street lined with very good restaurants was just a few minutes walk away. This was, without a doubt, the best part of our holiday, and we would not hesitate in recommending the Hampton Terrace to others."
