From The Boston Area or Hartford Bradley Airport

Take the Mass Pike west to Exit 2 (about 2 hours from Boston). Follow 20 West through Lee and across the Lenox town line. Pass Cranwell Golf Resort on your right. Turn left at the second light (Hwy 183). We are 7/10 mile up on the right – the white house just beyond Morgan Manor Condominiums.

From The Albany Area or I-87

Take I-90 east toward Boston (it will become the Mass Pike at the border). Take Exit 2 in Lee. Follow 20 West through Lee and across the Lenox town line. (NOTE: There is a 20 West exit near Albany on I-90. DO NOT TAKE THIS. CROSS THE MASS BORDER FIRST and wait for Lee.) So, you are heading on 20 West away from Lee and toward Lenox. Pass Cranwell Golf Resort on your right. Turn left at the second light (Hwy 183). We are 7/10 mile up on the right – the white house just beyond Morgan Manor Condominiums.

From New York City (Two Options)

Via The Taconic Parkway
From Manhattan, take the West Side Highway under the George Washington Bridge and follow the Henry Hudson north. It will become the Sawmill Parkway. Then exit to the Taconic Parkway. Follow the Taconic north several hours and take the Hillsdale/Claverack exit, Highway 23 East. Head through Hillsdale and go into Great Barrington. At the stop light turn left, taking Highway 7 North, through Stockbridge and into Lenox. At a major red light intersection, turn left on 7A and go 1 4/10 miles to Lenox town center. At the stop sign, turn right. In 50 yards, you will see Hampton Terrace on the left.

Via I-84 and Highway 8 North
(better roads): From Manhattan, take the Henry Hudson north to the Cross County Expressway east. After a couple of miles, there will be a massive left fork that becomes I-684 North. (From counties north of Manhattan, and from the east burroughs, get to I-684 the way you usually take.) After driving a while north on I-684, switch to I-84 East to Waterbury. At the big pretzel intersection, take the left turn onto Highway 8 North. Cross the Mass border and go through Otis. Beyond Otis, merge into Highway 20 West and continue through Lee and across the Lenox town line. Pass Cranwell Golf Resort on your right. Turn left at the second light (Hwy 183). We are 7/10 mile up on the right – the white house just beyond Morgan Manor Condominiums.

"….”It was the first of December, all covered in snow…” Those words from James Taylor will forever bring me back to your place and the wonderful, warm time spent there. We arrived in the Fall (Nov. 30), when I awoke the next morning from a very restful sleep and looked out my balcony window, I knew the beauty James sings about. Quiet, white, home…the Berkshires did seem dreamlike on account of that frosting! The entire stay from beginning to end was full of wonderful images enhanced by your family’s warmth and hospitality. The ride back to New York City with Peter Reigert and Ylva Edlestein was dominated with talk about how we all felt we had just experienced a very special, magical few days, thanks in large part to your generosity. That is saying something coming from a bunch of jaded actors."
