Tanglewood Takes Flight
The newest event to be featured at the festival this year is Tanglewood Takes Flight: A Celebration of Birds and Music with the Mass Audubon. This beautifully put together event features a series of six guided bird walks and five concerts, many of which will occur in the early morning. The bird walks will be paired with beautiful piano pieces from Catalogue of Birds composed by Messiaen’s performed by Pierre-Laurent Aimard and Piano Fellows. Aimard will also be presenting a piece that will mimic the songs of birds and be performed by a diverse group of composers. Many of these events are free so be sure to check out the schedule of events!
